Brian Lynch has a diverse work experience spanning multiple sectors. Most recently, they served as the Assistant Director of Finance at Natick Public Schools starting in May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Financial/Procurement Analyst at the Town of Burlington from June 2020 to May 2022. Before joining the public sector, Brian held positions at the Massachusetts School Building Authority as a Project Coordinator from April 2017 to June 2020, and at the Executive Office of the Massachusetts State Treasurer as a Policy Associate from January 2015 to April 2017. Brian also gained experience in political campaigns, serving as a Candidate Aide and Field Organizer for Deb Goldberg for State Treasurer from August 2014 to January 2015, and as a Senior Fellow for Warren Tolman for Attorney General from November 2013 to February 2014. Brian's early career includes positions as a Field Organizer for Will Brownsberger Campaign for Congress from June 2013 to October 2013, an intern in the Massachusetts State Senate from May 2012 to August 2012, and as an intern at the Finger Lakes Boating Museum from 2011 to 2012. Additionally, they volunteered at the YMCA from January 2011 to May 2011.

Brian Lynch earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Public Policy and Economics from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, which they attended from 2009 to 2013. Brian then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, where they studied from 2018 to 2021.
