Lauren Smith

Lauren Smith has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Lauren started their career in 1989 as an English Teacher at Broward County Public Schools. Lauren then transitioned to the insurance industry, working as an Insurance Agent at Payless Insurance Agency from 1990 to 2000. With a move to Unistar Auto Insurance in 2000, they took on the role of Sales Manager until 2001. Lauren's longest tenure was at Nation Safe Drivers, where they held various positions. Lauren initially served as the Director of Compliance from 2001 to 2020, and later took on the role of Director of Community Outreach and Social Impact from 2020 to 2023.

Lauren Smith attended the University of South Florida from 1984 to 1985, but did not obtain a degree or declare a field of study during that time. From 1986 to 1988, they attended Florida Atlantic University and completed a Bachelor's degree in English.
