Justin Massey

Justin Massey, MPH, currently works as an Associate Program Officer at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, where responsibilities include supporting the National Academy of Medicine's Grand Challenge on Climate Change, Human Health, and Equity, organizing expert meetings, conducting research, and managing Working Groups of the Action Collaborative on Decarbonizing the U. Prior experiences include serving as a Laboratory Supervisor at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, overseeing a high-complexity public health laboratory, and engaging as a Researcher at the GWU Climate Media Lab, focusing on climate communication. Additional roles encompassed a Graduate Teaching Assistantship for a Health and Environment course and an internship at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, contributing to the National Water Reuse Action Plan. Justin holds a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health Science and Policy from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from the University of Florida.
