Dick Derks

Dick Derks is a seasoned pharmacy professional with extensive experience in procurement, operations, and management. Currently serving as the Director of Pharmacy Procurement at Kroger Health, Dick also contributes as an Advisory Committee Member for the Scope Campaign Committee on Value-based Care at the National Association of Chain Drug Stores since September 2022. Prior roles include Senior Director of Pharmacy Merchandising Operations at Sam's Club and various leadership positions at Walmart, including Director of Generic Rx and Pharmacy Merchandising. An educator as well, Dick has served as an Adjunct Instructor at Chicago State University. Dick's educational background includes a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Illinois Chicago and an ongoing MBA at Creighton University.
