Elena Loveland

Editor-in-chief at National Association of Corporate Directors

Elena Loveland has a diverse work experience in writing and editing roles. Elena currently works as the Editor-In-Chief for Directorship magazine at the National Association of Corporate Directors, where they oversee content development and leads editorial strategy. Elena also manages the NACD BoardTalk blog, Private Company Directorship e-newsletter, and Future Fluency podcast. Previously, Elena served as the Editor-in-Chief for Trusteeship magazine at the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges, where they were responsible for content development and production. Elena has also worked as a writer and editor for various publications, including serving as Editor-in-Chief for International Educator magazine at NAFSA: Association of International Educators. Additionally, Elena has taught writing as a Writing Instructor at The Writer's Center and as an Adjunct English Instructor at Regent University and Northern Virginia Community College.

Elena Loveland pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with a minor in dance, at Goucher College from 1995 to 1999. Subsequently, they continued their education at George Mason University, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in English between 1999 and 2002.
