Deborah Stoutamire

Chief Administrative Officer at National Association of Counties

Deborah Stoutamire joined NACo in 2008 and currently serves as the chief administrative officer. She works closely with the executive director and other members of the leadership team to provide comprehensive oversight of the day-to-day operations necessary to ensure that NACo achieves its objectives. Specific duties include oversight of HR, IT, facility management, insurance, association management and sublease.

Prior to working for NACo, she worked for the American Public Power Association (APPA) as the vice president of administration. In addition to handling all facets of HR, she was responsible for overseeing business services, facilities management and the IT department. Prior to APPA, she held the position of director of operations at the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She was responsible for directing all aspects of HR, business development (association management services), IT, building management and office space leases.
