Steve Monaghan serves as the Agency Director of Information & General Services for Nevada County, CA, overseeing nine business lines with annual operations of $33 million and capital budgets exceeding $20 million, managing over 125 employees. Monaghan has held multiple concurrent roles, including Chief Information Officer and Emergency Services Director. Additionally, Monaghan contributes to several organizations as an Advisory Board Member for Ladris AI, a GovTech Mentor for CivStart, and has been involved with the California Counties Information Services Directors Association as an IT Leadership Instructor since 2015. Further commitments include membership in various committees with the National Association of Counties and the International City/County Management Association. Monaghan has also been active in educational advisory roles at Sierra College and California State University, Chico, and previously served as the President of the Board of Directors for Child Advocates of Nevada County.
