Gerrit Blauvelt

Gerrit Blauvelt currently serves as the 2nd Assistant Chief at Town of Newburgh Emergency Medical Services Inc since April 2024. In addition to this role, Gerrit has been an Instructor and NAEMT-Tactical Emergency Casualty Care Instructor with the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians since September 2017. Prior to this, Gerrit held various leadership positions at Mobile Life Support Services from May 2006 to June 2023, including Director of Field Operations and Senior Tactical Paramedic, overseeing EMS operations, staff performance, and tactical programs. Gerrit began a professional journey with an Associate of Applied Sciences in Emergency Medical Technology from SUNY Ulster, following graduation from Wallkill Senior High School in 2006.
