Clifford Richardson has a diverse range of work experience. Clifford began in 1996 as a Senior Special Forces Weapons Sergeant in the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) of the US Army. Clifford then served as a Special Forces Group Operations Sergeant at the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School from 2003 to 2006. Following that, they worked as a Special Forces Operations Sergeant (Team Sergeant) in the 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) from 2006 to 2010.

Richardson then transitioned to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, where they served as a Terrorist Operations Specialist / Risk Analyst from 2010 to 2014. Clifford then worked at Prometheus Global as the General Manager / Director of Integrated Security Solutions from April 2014 to June 2017.

From May 2014 to June 2017, Richardson also worked at Atomicorp, Inc., holding the positions of Director of Operations and Chief Operating Officer. After moving on from Atomicorp, they took on the role of Scuba Instructor at Deep South Dive Services from March 2018 to May 2021.

Simultaneously, from August 2018 to May 2021, Richardson furthered their education as a Marine Biology Student at the University of West Florida. Clifford then transitioned to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection as an Environmental Manager, where they worked from October 2021 to May 2023.

Currently, Richardson holds the position of Executive Director and CEO at NAUI Worldwide, starting from July 2023.

Clifford Richardson obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from the University of West Florida. Their education at the University of West Florida took place from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they attended Saint Leo University from 2001 to 2008, where they acquired a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
