Chloe Crumley has a diverse range of work experience in the environmental and conservation field. Chloe began their career in 2015, working as a Let's Move! Outside Community Coordinator for the Texas Conservation Corps at American Youthworks. In this role, they engaged the community and fostered a connection to nature through outdoor service opportunities and collaboration with various organizations.
From 2015 to 2017, Chloe served as a Trails Crew Leader for the Texas Conservation Corps, leading a group of students in conservation efforts and trail work across Texas. Chloe also worked as a Texas Clean Air Matters Blog Ghost Writer for the Environmental Defense Fund during this time.
In 2017, Chloe joined the National Parks Conservation Association, where they held multiple roles. Chloe served as a Texas Advocacy Fellow, working to protect and uplift parks for visitors and the community. Chloe later became a Community Engagement Program Coordinator for Texas and Oklahoma, focusing on mobilizing individuals and organizations to support national parks in the region. Additionally, they served as a Field Representative, building relationships with local communities and decision-makers to advance park protection campaigns and programs.
Chloe joined the Friends of Balcones Canyonlands NWR in 2020 as a Board Member on the Conservation & Stewardship Committee. In this role, they focused on strategic preservation of the Balcones Canyonland National Wildlife Refuge through government advocacy and landowner education.
Most recently, Chloe started working at the National Audubon Society in 2022 as an Engagement Manager. Further details about this role were not provided.
Chloe Crumley's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Science & Policy, which they obtained from St. Edward's University from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they graduated from Alamo Heights High School with a High School Diploma in 2011.
In addition to their formal education, Chloe has obtained several certifications. Chloe completed the Conflict Resolution Foundations course from LinkedIn in June 2021 and became a Supermajority Leader through Supermajority in August 2020. Chloe also completed the courses "Being an Effective Team Member" and "Leading at a Distance" from LinkedIn in April 2020. Furthermore, Chloe is a Wilderness First Aid Responder through NOLS Wilderness Medicine, having obtained this certification in December 2016. Chloe is also a certified Project WILD Educator and a Master Outdoor Leader, both obtained through the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department in November 2016 and June 2016, respectively.
