Khan joined NAB as a graduate in Gunnedah in 1992. He currently leads NSW North Regional & Agribusiness with approximately 250 bankers in 25 locations.
Khan was born and raised in Grafton and remains heavily involved in the family farm — a commercial Angus herd located in the Northern Rivers region of NSW. He’s passionate about regional Australia and the role agriculture plays in the economy.
Khan has a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics from the University of Sydney and a Masters in Finance from the University of New England. He is a strong believer in tertiary and post graduate education for agricultural bankers. In his current role, Khan recruits around 30 graduates annually, predominantly with agricultural / economic and commerce degrees.
