Souvanna Southammavong

Souvanna Southammavong has a strong background in product development and management. Most recently, Souvanna held the position of Senior Director of Product Development at APCO Holdings, LLC, starting in July 2023. Prior to that, Souvanna was the Director of Product Development at National Auto Care from August 2021 to the present. Souvanna also worked as the Director of Warranty & Consumer Products Underwriting at Fortegra Warranty Solutions from June 2018 to August 2021. Before transitioning into product development roles, Souvanna gained experience as a Product Manager at Kemper from October 2013 to June 2018. Earlier in their career, Souvanna held several roles at various insurance companies such as Wellmark, Allied Insurance, Nationwide/Allied/Titan & Victoria Insurance, and Allied/Nationwide/Titan & Victoria Insurance, focusing on product management, sales, marketing, and system analysis. Souvanna's diverse work experience also includes a teaching position as a Life Science Teacher at Ankeny Community Schools from August 2000 to May 2004.

Souvanna Southammavong obtained a Bachelor of Arts and Science Education from the University of Northern Iowa in 1999. Souvanna later pursued a Masters in Business Administration at Iowa State University from 2005 to 2007.
