Jean-François Brouillette

Jean-François Brouillette has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and cybersecurity. Jean-François founded Cyber Formation Québec in 2023 and previously worked as a Practice Lead - Cyber Incident Response at Banque Nationale du Canada since 2021. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at KPMG-EGYDE in the field of cyber incident response and digital investigations. Prior to that, they were the Director of Technology at Agence B-367 from 2016 to 2017. Jean-François also served as an Instructor and Commanding Officer at the Department of National Defense from 2013 to 2017, and as a System Administrator at Nmédia from 2013 to 2016. Before that, they gained experience in technical support at Sogetel Inc. in 2013 and as a Technical Trainer at CGI from 2012 to 2013. Jean-François started their career as a Webmaster at CARIM from 2011 to 2012.

Jean-François Brouillette has a diverse education history focused on cybersecurity and computer networks. Jean-François started their education at Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe in 2010, studying computer science. In 2011, they enrolled at CDE College, where they pursued a program in network management.

Jean-François then attended Collège d'Alma in 2021, participating in a program on investigation techniques. Following this, they joined Polytechnique Montréal in 2022 and completed a Certificate in Cyberenquête, specializing in cybersecurity. Jean-François continued their studies at Polytechnique Montréal, earning a Certificate in Cyberfraude with a focus on cybersécurité from 2022 to 2024.

In addition to their formal education, Jean-François obtained several industry certifications. These include the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and several badges from MITRE Engenuity. Jean-François also acquired certifications from Carbon Black, Altaro Software, Microsoft, and CompTIA, among others. Jean-François has a strong foundation in cybersecurity and network management, supplemented by continuous learning and industry certifications.
