Sotiris Stamatopoulos has extensive work experience in the banking and information systems field. From 1998 to 2001, they worked as an Application Consultant and then as a Senior Application Consultant at SAP. Sotiris then joined the National Bank of Greece Group in 2001 as a Senior SAP Consultant and later became the Consulting Manager and Head of Management Information Systems Unit. During their time at the National Bank of Greece, they were responsible for designing and implementing financial data solutions and managing various SAP projects. In 2012, Sotiris joined the National Bank of Greece as a BI Project Manager, and they later became the Head of Financial Applications Business Analysis & Projects Subdivision and the Head of Financial Data Management Services & Projects Unit. In these roles, they focused on financial data management, implementing IT solutions for financial reporting, and leading teams.
Sotiris Stamatopoulos has an MSc in Accounting & Management Science from the University of Southampton and an MEng in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Patras. Sotiris also holds certifications in ITIL Foundation Level from ITIL Certified (obtained in 2014) and PMP from Project Management Institute (obtained in 2005).
