Marija Obrenovic

Marija Obrenovic has extensive work experience in the field of finance and auditing. Marija is currently serving as the Vice President at the State Audit Institution, a position they started in April 2023. Prior to this, Marija worked at the National Bank of Serbia where they held the roles of Head of Unit and Advisor at the Reserves Management division from December 2013 to the present. Before joining the National Bank of Serbia, they worked as a Financial Advisor at Dunav Insurance Company from December 2011 to December 2013. Marija also gained valuable experience as a Consultant Junior/Business Advisory Services at BDO Business Advisory and as an Analyst for Direct Borrowing of the Republic at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia - Public Debt Administration and Treasury.

Marija Obrenovic began their education journey in 2003 at the Faculty of Business Studies, where they pursued a bachelor's degree in International Business. Marija completed their undergraduate studies in 2007. Following that, they attended the Faculty of Organizational Sciences from 2007 to 2009, obtaining a Master's degree with a specialization in Investment Management. In 2009, Marija enrolled in the Investment Adviser Course offered by the Securities Commission of the Republic of Serbia, completing it in 2011. Later, in 2013, they undertook the Broker Course at the same institution. In 2020, Marija attended the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency to become a Bankruptcy Administrator. The current status of their education beyond 2013 is not provided.
