Head Of Regulatory Affairs at National Broadband Ireland

Sarah Lynam has a diverse and extensive work experience in the legal field. Sarah currently holds the position of Head of Legal and Regulatory Affairs at National Broadband Ireland since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate General Counsel (EMEA) - Legal & Security at Meta from July 2021 to January 2023. Sarah also had a long tenure at William Fry, where they worked as a Competition and Regulation Solicitor/Senior Associate from April 2010 to July 2021. Sarah has also served in various legal roles on secondment, including Senior Legal Counsel at the Commission for Communications Regulation from January 2019 to July 2019, and Legal Counsel from June 2017 to September 2017. Sarah gained experience as a Legal Advisor at Tesco Mobile during a brief secondment in October 2013.

Sarah Lynam pursued their LLB degree from Trinity College Dublin from 2002 to 2006. Afterwards, they attended the Law Society of Ireland from 2007 to 2010, completing PPC I and PPC II. In 2009, they also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in EU Competition Law from King's College London.
