Eszter Farkas

Regional Director, West at National Cannabis Risk Management Association

Eszter was born in Hungary, a land famous for its cuisine, tasty wine, and extraordinary people. At fifteen, her family decided to relocate to the United States and settled in Las Vegas, NV, where she currently resides.

Growing up in “The City of Lights” was difficult but taught Eszter the growth, social interaction, and survival skills she brings to her role as regional director of the NCRMA. These skills were complemented by stints in California, Michigan, Florida, Minnesota, Illinois, and Arizona.

She continued her education in Minnesota by receiving a bachelor’s degree as a paralegal and furthered it by gaining her law degree in Arizona. This experience and formal legal training have not only armed Eszter with logical thinking and reasoning skills necessary to successfully navigate the complexity of cannabis, but also gave her exposure to much of the wrong that effective and mission-based associations like the NCRMA can work to rectify.

Growing up in Europe and having the opportunity to live in several of the United States gifted Eszter with an extensive background in dealing with different cultures and people from various backgrounds. Such diversity is a characteristic of the emerging cannabis market and Eszter will use these skills widely to continually solve NCRMA member issues.
