Michael Sherman is an experienced professional who has worked in various positions related to urban planning, policy, and research. With a background in architecture and urban design, Michael has held roles in different organizations such as the National Capital Planning Commission and the US Army. Michael has extensive experience in GIS and CAD technology and has completed degrees in architecture, city planning, and national security. As the current Director of Policy and Research, Michael leads the division in identifying critical issues and opportunities facing the federal government in the National Capital Region. Prior to their current role, Michael served as the Chief of Staff and held other positions in urban planning, design, and information technology.
