Paata Shurghaia

Paata Shurghaia, MBA, serves as Co Managing Partner at Grant Thornton Georgia since January 2016, holding various key positions including Deputy Managing Partner and Head of Business Process Solution. In addition to this, Paata Shurghaia is a member of the Higher Education Sectoral Council on Finance at the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement and acts as an Angel with Axel - Georgian Angel Investor Network. Paata Shurghaia is an Associate Professor and Head of the BBA Finance Module at SEU - Georgian National University while also serving as a Visiting Associate Professor at International Black Sea University. Furthermore, Paata Shurghaia co-founded Crisp Way Union, was a radio host at Radio Commersant, and held the position of Director General at Empire Metals Ltd. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Corporate Finance from Cardiff Metropolitan University, a PhD in Business Administration and Management from IBSU, an MA in Public Policy from GIPA, and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
