Tim Braun

Tim Braun is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience in homicide and death investigations. Since 2005, Tim serves as the Law Enforcement Liaison for the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation/Police Department at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and also provides consultancy on recent and cold case investigations. As Chief Consultant at Braun Consulting, LLC, Tim has been recognized as an Expert Witness in homicide investigation by the New Jersey Superior Court. Previously, Tim held key roles including Commander of the Somerset County Homicide Task Force and Homicide Detective at the Essex County Prosecutor's Office, where involvement in over 400 murder cases was notable. Tim began a law enforcement career at the Livingston Police Department and has been actively officiating men’s high school lacrosse since 2012. Tim holds an educational background from Wesley College, Delaware.
