Kim Kalahar

Academic Alliance Awards Manager at National Center for Women in IT - NCEIT

Kim Kalahar is the Awards Manager for the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) Academic Alliance (AA). Previously, Kim served as the Director of the AA, and her efforts more than quadrupled the number of academic institutions and individuals in the Academic Alliance. She works closely with the project teams to ensure the alliance hears the members and meets with the AA leaders several times a month. Kim has been instrumental in supporting the AA awards and works with many of the AA volunteers to ensure the awards continue.

Prior to coming to CU-Boulder, she was employed by several high-technology corporations conducting customer loyalty research as well as product features and functionality research. Kim has a master’s in business administration as well as a bachelor’s of science in business administration.
