Asim Munawar has an extensive background in research, management, and advisory roles in the tech industry. Currently serving as a Research Project Lead at IBM, Asim oversees a team of researchers working on realigning large language models for enterprise applications. With previous experience as a Program Director for Neuro-Symbolic AI and a Manager for the Embodied Learning (EL) team, Asim has led multiple projects in robotics, AI, and conversational analysis. Additionally, Asim has served in advisory roles for companies like Packt and Sun Microsystems, showcasing a strong commitment to advancing technology. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Hokkaido University, Asim brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the field.
