Kathy Southern

President at National Children's Museum

Kathy Southern has over 20 years of experience in the museum industry. Kathy began their career in 1996 as President of Port Discovery Children's Museum. In 2001, they took on the role of President of the National Children's Museum, a congressionally designated 150,000 sq. ft. national museum for children designed by Cesar Pelli and the successor to the 30 year old Capital Children's Museum.

Kathy Southern attended the Wisconsin School of Business from 1964 to 1972, where they earned a Master of Arts in Arts Administration.
