Andrew McCarthy

Andrew McCarthy has a strong background in IT operations and administration. Andrew started their career as a Systems Administrator at the British Embassy in Washington DC in July 2004 and worked there until November 2010. After that, they joined NCQA as a Network Administrator in November 2010, then progressed to the role of Network Administrator II in February 2012. In April 2016, they became a Project/IT Service Manager, and finally, in December 2018, they were promoted to Director of IT Operations at NCQA.

Andrew McCarthy has obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator from Northern Virginia Community College. Andrew has also acquired additional certifications, including Microsoft Azure Fundamental's AZ-900 in 2020, ITIL Intermediate Service Strategy in 2016, ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management in 2015, and certifications in both Copper Based Network Cabling and Fiber Optic Network Cabling (exact years of certification not provided).
