Douglas Forsyth

Douglas Forsyth currently serves as the Advanced Technology Project Lead at the National Composites Centre since September 2021. Previously, at Safran from September 2018 to September 2021, Douglas contributed to the Propound 2 project as an Expertise Engineer and Project Management Officer, focusing on process development and achieving a 5% cost reduction through a Cost Optimisation Green Belt project. Other notable experiences include internships at FERROVIAL AGROMAN, where Douglas tracked mechanical services installation, and Renishaw, where design and assembly of jigs were undertaken to enhance manufacturing processes. Douglas began the professional journey with a Link Scheme position at Tata Steel, analyzing operational data for cost-saving recommendations, and completed work experience at Mabey Bridge Limited, performing crane analysis for wind turbine installations.
