Denise Scruggs

Denise Scruggs has extensive experience in providing Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Seminars as the Director of Education and Vice President of Corporate Training at the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. Denise also serves as a Trainer for the Certified Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Seminar. Additionally, Denise is a Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional Trainer at the International Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners, a Trainer at the Institute of Post-Acute Care, and has served as the Director of the Beard Center on Aging at the University of Lynchburg. Denise also writes a monthly column for "Senior News" magazine and has a background in social work and public safety administration.
