Anna Roseboro

Commission To Support Early Career ELA Teachers, Chair at National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE)

Anna Roseboro has over three decades of experience in education, currently serving as the Chair of the Commission to Support Early Career ELA Teachers at the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) since 2010. In this role, Anna collaborates with mentoring programs and oversees initiatives for retired and retiring members as Acting Chair of the Emeritus Assembly. Additionally, Anna acts as the Liaison of the Conference on English Leadership to the Secondary Section. Anna has also contributed as a Workshop Presenter for TEACHING LANGUAGE ARTS and has held adjunct professor positions at Calvin College and Grand Valley State University. Previously, Anna served as an English Teacher, Department Chair, and Student Services Director at The Bishop's School, managing various academic and administrative responsibilities. Anna holds a Master of Arts in Curriculum Design from UC San Diego and another Master of Arts in Communication Arts and Secondary Education from Wayne State University, among other educational qualifications.
