Hasan E.

Hasan E. serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for National Cyber Group since May 2022, contributing to cybersecurity workforce development and talent solutions. Hasan co-founded LetsDefend and CyberNow Labs, both active since 2021 and 2018 respectively. Previously, Hasan was a Senior Manager of Information Security at Capital One, providing strategic direction for the Retail Bank's security initiatives from September 2016 to March 2021. Notable achievements include serving as Program Manager, Information Security at MasterCard, where Hasan implemented the Host Card Emulation project, and contributing to the core banking platform migration as an Information Security Engineer at Albaraka Katılım Bankası A.Ş. Hasan began the career with roles as an IT Specialist & Instructor for Prince George's County Board of Ed and as a Penetration Tester at Zeitin Design. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Master's in Cyber Security Engineering from İstanbul Şehir University.
