Vice President Of Policy at National Domestic Violence Hotline

Marium Durrani has extensive experience in the field of domestic violence policy and advocacy. Marium has held several leadership roles in prominent organizations, including the National Domestic Violence Hotline, where they currently serve as the Vice President of Policy. In this role, they lead efforts to increase government commitment to ending domestic violence and promotes legislation to enhance victim empowerment and safety.

Prior to their current position, Durrani worked as the Policy Director at the National Domestic Violence Hotline, where they were responsible for developing and executing a strategic advocacy plan. Marium also served as the Director of Policy at the NATIONAL RESOURCE CENTER ON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, where they focused on national policy priorities and reauthorization work.

Durrani's career also includes roles at the National Network to End Domestic Violence, where they served as a Senior Policy Attorney and a Policy Attorney. In these positions, they worked on various domestic violence issues, including legislation and appropriations. Marium also led a team in producing an annual survey of domestic violence services.

In December 2013, they achieved the certification of being admitted to practice Law in the State of Virginia from the Virginia State Bar.
