Paul Sonn

State Policy Program Director & Director, NELP Action Fund at National Employment Law Project

Paul Sonn is an accomplished legal and policy expert with extensive experience in employment law and civil rights advocacy. Currently serving as the State Policy Program Director and Director of the NELP Action Fund at the National Employment Law Project since February 2008, Paul oversees a team dedicated to addressing critical issues in the U.S. labor market. Previously, Paul co-directed the Economic Justice Project at the Brennan Center for Justice from 1999 to 2008 and served as Assistant Counsel at the NAACP Legal Defense & Educational Fund from 1994 to 1999. Paul holds a Juris Doctor degree from Yale Law School and an A.B. in Religion/Religious Studies from Dartmouth College.
