Isabelle (Izzy) Pfander is an accomplished research scientist currently working with the Leidos Research Support Team at the National Energy Technology Laboratory since September 2021. Prior experience includes a software development internship at UCAR - The University Corporation for Atmospheric Research in May 2021, a GIS programming tutor role at Willamette University in late 2020, and a freelance technology education writer for EveryDeveloper during the summer of 2020. Previous tutoring roles at Willamette University involved assisting students in computer science concepts and programming. Isabelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Willamette University, complemented by a study abroad experience at the University of Otago in 2020.
