Alan Parente

Alan Parente has extensive work experience in the creative industry, specifically with National Geographic and the National Geographic Society. Alan currently serves as the Head of Experiences at the National Geographic Society since January 2023. Prior to this, they held various roles at National Geographic, including Vice President of Creative, Creative Director of Exhibitions & Global Experiences, Art Director, and Graphic Artist. Alan'semployment with National Geographic started in November 1999, and they have played a significant role in the creative development and direction of the organization.

Alan Parente attended The George Washington University from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Marketing. Additionally, Alan also studied at the Corcoran School of Art, although the duration and specific programs pursued are unknown.
