Vanessa Rodriguez

Vanessa Rodriguez is an experienced program manager currently with the National Geographic Society since April 2023. Previously, Vanessa served as a Program Development Specialist at UnidosUS from April 2021 to December 2022 and held the role of Program Officer at the International Center for Journalists from November 2018 to March 2021, where responsibilities included budget monitoring and report writing. Early career experiences include a Production Assistant Internship at WGBY, where Vanessa supported community outreach and event planning, as well as internships with Podcasts for Peace and Historias de Luz, focusing on youth program coordination and media production. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature with a minor in Latinx Studies from Mount Holyoke College and completed a study abroad program in Communication, New Media, and Journalism in Seville, Spain.
