Jennifer Chick is the chief marketing and brand officer at the National Geographic Society. She has 25 years of experience driving growth, loyalty and brand transformation for global organizations. In this role, Chick leads the development of innovative marketing strategies that are instrumental in amplifying the Society’s global impact through a wide range of channels, while advancing the brand and recognition of one of the world’s most trusted nonprofit organizations. Additionally, Chick accelerates the Society’s culture of philanthropy by strengthening key partnerships that help drive the organization’s mission forward, including its joint venture partnership with The Walt Disney Company.
Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Loyalty and Customer Growth at Hilton, where she led the award-winning Hilton Honors program, expanded the portfolio of cobranded credit card products, and delivered customer acquisition and retention strategies serving more than 226 million members worldwide across 24 world-class brands.
Throughout her career, Chick has operated at the intersection of customer insight and brand storytelling — leading global brand marketing, communications, digital and product initiatives across hospitality, travel, consumer and nonprofit sectors. At Hilton, she built innovative, data-driven strategies that deepened loyalty and delivered long-term customer growth around the world. Earlier in her career, she worked in consulting and advertising with McCann-Erickson and Arnold Worldwide, helping leading brands sharpen their positioning and expand market reach.
Passionate about purpose-driven storytelling and advancing education and culture, Chick serves on the board of the National Cherry Blossom Festival and is committed to helping organizations inspire curiosity, foster learning, and build enduring connections with their audiences. She holds an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in marketing from George Mason University.
