Jennifer Q. Murphy

Jennifer Q. Murphy is a seasoned professional in video production and management with a comprehensive career at National Geographic, serving in various roles since 2005. Currently, as Senior Manager of Video for NG Media, Jennifer oversees the workflow and operational support for digital video productions, working closely with the Deputy Director to align editorial priorities. Previous roles include leading a team in the creation of editorial content and collaborating across departments to meet deadlines. Jennifer’s career also features positions in educational media production and independent film editing. Jennifer holds a BA in International Studies from American University and completed the 2021 Leadership Academy for Women in Media at the Poynter Institute.
