Lisa Cates is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the photography and outdoor education sectors. Currently serving as Executive Director and President of the New Orleans Photo Alliance since June 2017, Cates leads initiatives that enhance community engagement through photography, particularly in the Gulf South region. Simultaneously, Cates has been an Expedition Leader with National Geographic since May 2010, focusing on teaching photography and facilitating student learning during trips.
