Rebecca Martin

Rebecca Martin serves as the President of Exploration Connections LLC since February 2019 and has held various senior leadership positions at the National Geographic Society since January 1998, including Senior Director of Explorer Programs and Director of the Expeditions Council and Young Explorers Program. With extensive experience overseeing over 800 exploratory and scientific expeditions globally for more than 15 years, Rebecca collaborates with National Geographic media entities and explorers to ensure comprehensive coverage of expedition results and discoveries. Rebecca holds a B.A. in Literature with minors in Anthropology and Scandinavian Languages, as well as an M.A. in International Education from The George Washington University, alongside a background from Sandy Spring Friends School.
