Ashley Mcdonald

Ashley McDonald has a diverse work experience in the agriculture industry. Ashley is currently working as the Executive Director at the National Grazing Lands Coalition. Prior to this, they served as the Assistant Vice President of Sustainability Development & Outreach at the National Pork Board from 2021 to 2023. From 2016 to 2021, Ashley held the position of Senior Director of Sustainability at the National Cattlemen's Beef Association. Before that, they worked as the Director of State Legislative Affairs at the Missouri Farm Bureau Federation from 2014 to 2016. Ashley also served as an Environmental Counsel at the National Cattlemen's Beef Association from 2010 to 2014, where they lobbied Congress on environmental issues related to the cattle industry. In 2005, they started their career as an intern at the MO Department of Agriculture.

Ashley McDonald completed a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2007. Ashley then pursued higher education at George Mason University - Antonin Scalia Law School, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree between 2007 and 2010.
