Raisa Johnson is a seasoned professional in public policy and resident services, currently serving as the Director of Resident Services at the National Housing Trust since May 2016. In this role, Raisa collaborates with the public policy team to advocate for affordable housing preservation and partners with Energy Efficiency for All to integrate energy efficiency into housing initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as a Pablo Eisenberg Public Policy Fellow at the Center for Community Change and a Marketing Analyst at Sain Engineering Associates Inc., where Raisa coordinated proposals for energy efficiency projects. Additionally, Raisa has held teaching positions as an Assistant Professor at Universidade Federal da Paraíba and a Professor at DuocUC, focusing on English as a Foreign Language. Raisa holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in International and Global Studies from The University of the South.
