Shenjun Zhong

Shenjun Zhong is a research fellow at the National Imaging Facility since August 2020, focusing on the development of large-scale medical imaging workflows and the integration of AI and deep learning applications in medical imaging. Concurrently, Shenjun serves as a research scientist at Monash University, specializing in deep learning techniques for medical image classification and object detection, particularly in respiratory system analyses using X-ray images. Previous roles include serving as CTO and founder of pata.ai, where real-time streaming architecture and analysis were developed, and as a data scientist at Telstra, focusing on natural language processing and chatbots. Shenjun's educational background includes a PhD in Neuroimaging and Data Science from Monash University, along with a Master's in Information Technology and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering.
