Dane Elmquist is a dedicated researcher with a solid academic and professional background in entomology and biological sciences. Currently serving as a Predoctoral Research Fellow at the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture since January 2022, Dane Elmquist is also a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Idaho since May 2019. Previous experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at Washington State University from 2017 to 2019, a Biological Technician at the USDA Agricultural Research Service from 2016 to 2017, and an Assistant Program Coordinator at the University of Minnesota Monarch Lab from 2014 to 2016. Dane Elmquist is pursuing a PhD at the University of Idaho, having earned a Master of Science in Entomology from Washington State University and a Bachelor of Science in Ecology, Evolution, and Animal Behavior from the University of Minnesota College of Biological Sciences.
