Ruben S. Luis

Ruben S. Luis is a Senior Researcher at NICT, with extensive experience in research and development of optical telecommunications systems and network technology. Ruben has previous experience as an Optical Design Engineer at Infinera and as a Research Engineer at Photonic Networks System Laboratory. Ruben has a background in Electrical Engineering with a PhD from Universidade de Aveiro and has developed patents for innovative optical technologies. With a strong skill set in transport systems and technical training delivery, Ruben has worked internationally and contributed significantly to the field of optical fiber communications.
