Adela Nicolaev is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in computational science, currently serving as Researcher III at the National Institute of Materials Physics since March 2018, focusing on the Group of Surfaces and Interfaces. Previously, Adela held the position of Assistant Lecturer at the University of Bucharest from January 2010 to February 2018, where responsibilities included teaching seminars on parallel programming and conducting bachelor's courses in numerical computing. Adela also worked as a Researcher at the University of Bucharest, specializing in numerical simulations, optimization problems, and ab initio modeling of nanostructures and materials. Additional research experience includes positions as an Invited Researcher at the University of Oslo and a PhD Researcher at Ecole Polytechnique, contributing to similar fields of study. Adela holds a Ph.D. in Computational Science from the University of Bucharest, complemented by a Master of Science and Bachelor's degree in the same discipline.
