Joseph Fowler is a Senior ARRA Research Fellow at NIST, specializing in the analysis of data from X-ray and gamma-ray spectrometers for applications in chemical physics and nuclear fingerprinting, as well as millimeter-wave astronomy, since August 2010. Previously, Joseph served as an Assistant Professor of Physics at Princeton University, where responsibilities included leading the data analysis pipeline and site data acquisition software for the Atacama Cosmology Telescope (ACT), along with the optical design and silicon lens development efforts. Joseph also held the position of Robert H. Dicke Postdoctoral Fellow, contributing to the design and deployment of MINT, a millimeter interferometer for CMB studies in Chile, where the focus was on calibration and data analysis.
