M S Bhat is a Professor at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal, since December 2005, with extensive expertise in digital, analog, and mixed signal design, sub-micron device design, computer architecture, digital image processing, and RF MEMS. Prior to this role, M S Bhat served as an Associate Professor focusing on digital, analog, and mixed-mode VLSI and digital signal processing, as well as executing industry partnership projects. M S Bhat has held visiting researcher positions at the Eindhoven University of Technology, specializing in high-speed interconnects, and conducted research at the Indian Institute of Science on current mode circuits. Earlier academic positions include Assistant Professor and Lecturer at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, with a focus on signal processing and VLSI design, and a visiting researcher position at The University of Manchester, concentrating on image processing and VLSI.
