Jake Yoo

Jake Yoo currently serves as the Lead Laboratory Technician at The National Institutes of Health since April 2021, following experience as a Laboratory Technician with Avantor from October 2018 to March 2021, where responsibilities included managing biological materials and enhancing lab productivity. Prior to these roles, Jake contributed to education as a Math and Science Teacher at Education One and directed children’s ministry at Richmond Korean Central Presbyterian Church. Academic experience includes working as a Research Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University, providing support in engineering research, and earlier roles in administrative support. Jake holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies with a focus on Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University.
