Takuya Amagai is the Policy & Data Visualization Associate with the National Journal's Presentation Center. Originally from Tokyo, Japan, Takuya previously worked as a research associate at Vote Smart, informing Americans about their candidates. Most recently, Takuya was working as a Counties Future Labs Intern at the National Association of Counties, where he worked on projects such as the American Rescue Plan. Takuya holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Political Science and International Relations from Carleton College, and a Masters in Public Policy Degree from McCourt School of Public Policy, Georgetown University. He currently resides in Arlington, Virginia.
