Charlene Cole, MHA has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Charlene began their career in 2002 as a Project Coordinator at the Arbor Research Collaborative for Health, where they worked until 2007. Following this, Charlene joined the University of Michigan as a Project Manager, working until 2008. In 2008, they transitioned to the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan, starting as a Program Specialist and progressing through various roles including Program Manager, Senior Program Manager, Director of Program Operations, and finally, Vice President. Charlene's work at the National Kidney Foundation has spanned from 2008 to the present.

Charlene Cole earned their Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree from Eastern Michigan University, specializing in Health Administration, from 2010 to 2011.

Since 1955, the NKF of Michigan, Inc. (NKFM) has led the fight against life-threatening chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and kidney disease. We have enhanced the lives of many Michigan residents through our prevention programs and patient services. Our efforts have also changed legislation, ensured quality care for patients and advanced medical knowledge. We have informed the public about kidney and urological diseases and increased awareness of the critical need for organ and tissue donations. The mission of the NKFM is prevent kidney disease and improve the quality of life for those living with it.
