Tanya E. Smith

Tanya E. Smith has extensive experience in leadership and community relations within the healthcare and philanthropic sectors. Currently, Smith serves on the Board of Directors for the Association Multicultural Affairs in Transplantation and chairs the Detroit Leadership Committee for the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan, focusing on kidney health awareness. With a career that includes roles as Community Relations Coordinator for Gift of Life Michigan and Program Coordinator for Gift of Life Michigan-MOTTEP, Smith has demonstrated a commitment to organ donation and community outreach. Previously, as Donor Relations Manager for the American Red Cross, Smith developed strategies to enhance revenue and foster professional relationships. Additionally, Smith held the position of Regional Business Manager at Kayser-Roth Corporation. Smith holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University and a Certificate of Achievement in Fundraising from Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
