Daniel R. Foley has extensive experience in law enforcement and memorial affairs. Since 2005, Foley has served as an Honor Guard Instructor at Goshen Police Honor Guard Training and DFL Honor Guard Training, focusing on memorial affairs and line of duty funerals. As a Memorial Affairs/Honor Guard Coordinator for the Michigan Sheriffs & Municipal Memorial Assistance Response Team since 2010, Foley assists law enforcement agencies in Michigan during line of duty deaths and funeral services. Additionally, Foley has contributed as a Subject Matter Expert for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund since June 2021 and has a decade of experience in executive protection and security operations with the Detroit Executive Group. Foley's earlier career includes a tenure as a Police Officer and K9 Handler with the Wyandotte Police Department from 1986 to 2011, where Foley developed the department's K9 program.
